Scrunchies
Skrap Magic begins with the transformation of scrap fabric into scrunchies. The purpose of this project is to give new life to waste, accomplishing this I use fabric bound for the bin then scrunchies are sewn with thrifted thread and deadstock elastic.
Branding
An ever evolving process, Skrap Magic is centered on sharing our story of transforming trash into treasure. Branding for Skrap Magic has included tags, social media stories and most recently an e-commerce site.
Photography
Photography and photo editing skills can be make or break skills for social media and e-commerce. I have learned how best to show off the scrunchies, creating diverse and consistent content across various platforms.
